About us
We are a village parish Church in the archdeaconry of Warwick which is in the Diocese of Coventry.
We do not look like a traditional village church and for more information about that visit our history page
Like many, we are a small congregation of faithful worshippers gathering on a Sunday. More information about service times here.
Not only do we gather together for services, but for social events over the year. Our fundraising and social events can be found here.
We love our building and over the coming year we are hoping to do some refurbishment in order for the church to be available to many generations of villagers and visitors. We have some plans to provide a WC and a small servery inside church so that we can welcome people with our hospitality.
Next year we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of the opening of St.Peter ad Vincula, we are hoping to have some events across the year culminating in a special service of dedication of a new carved panel inside the church.
We very much hope that you will visit us at one of our services, one of our events or just wander into the church for a look around when it is open.
Hampton Lucy CofE Primary School
We have strong links with our local Church of England Primary School. We work collaboratively with them to hold significant services in the church termly and family service monthly. Family services take place on the second Sunday of every month and everyone is welcome.
The services are attended by pupils and parents, with pupils taking an active role, planning and leading services and arranging hymns and readings.
The school encourages every child to reach their full potential by providing inspirational learning experiences in a caring and nurturing environment within our beautiful rural setting. The school derives its ethos from its Christian values. Every member of the school community , of whatever faith and ethnicity, whatever their status, from the Leaders to the youngest child in the Nursery is loved and valued: all are equal in the sight of God.

Reverand Linda MacDermott
Rev. Linda MacDermott has been our Priest-in-Charge since November 2024. Linda is priest to several churches in South Warwickshire and previously lived in Leamington Spa for 35 years, so knows our area very well.
Linda trained for the priesthood at Ripon College Cuddesdon, and feeling called to rural ministry she served her Title in the Kington Parishes in the Diocese of Hereford – the most rural she could find!
Linda’s passion is for building community and helping people to develop their spirituality, this can happen through music, art, walking or many other things – God is in them all.
Linda looks forward to meeting everyone at church, at community events and around and about in the parish.
